ira-k, these blocks have copper internals. The part that comes in contact with the memory is aluminum, but that never finds it way to the water.

Maybe not but I still wouldn't put one in my loop...But then again I don't even WC my GPU......But if I did I would still have to go with the Swifty 60, no aluminum....

Bleh, then what are you going to do? Spend 3 hours trying to get the ram sinks to stick to your memory / I/O chip / PWMs just to find out they all fall off the second you try to install them.

These work well from what I've heard and they are supposed to be coming out with one for the GTS also....

I am going to get a Stealth over the Uni-Sink + MCW60...I already wrote to this topic via IM but here's a quotation:
"I won't have to worry about putting a fan on the GTS because the rest of the stuff (the GPU is watercooled) is cooled via the Uni-sink".

Basically, the whole thing gets cooled via water and I don't have to worry about cooling the stuff that isn't cooled by the water. The only things that aren't cooled are the Mosfets, which are understandable- The price for the MOSFET addition would be huge, in the order of $30+ just to put an extra patch of metal on.

You'll probably never have a problem using one Burn...But the way my luck runs it would chip on me the first day....That and I would be so paranoid I would have to take my blocks apart every other day to check them for corrosion .......

I think Swiftech would be more than willing to replace someone's top that was damaged/scratched and caused galvanic corrosion in their loop

Maybe they will come out with copper tops for them like they are going to do with the GTX cpu blocks...That would make a killer GPU block......I just wonder why they didn't use Delrin for the tops to start out with? They have to know how many of us are to paranoid to use aluminum...

I, too, wondered why they didn't use Delrin for their tops. A copper top would be VERY VERY expensive to make. You think a Fuzion was expensive to make, try making something that big out of copper. Delrin would be your best bet.
