Stock cooling? You are not at 100% load then, or your ambient is low.

If you can RUN TaT? Trust TaT. I think it's the most accurate for Quads.

I'm somewhat relieved to hear you say this I just setup my new system last night and I am getting about the same temps as you 28C Ambient 40 idle and about 60 full load.

Is this running at 2.4 or faster? I am currently at 2.4, with a B3 but I have heard of others with the Zalman 9700 being able to achieve 3Ghz with similar temps.

I'm wondering if I just need to wait for my thermal to "cure" or if maybe I have it seated incorrectly?

3 Ghz is my goal. I am only running onboard video with a 500gig WD Sata drive. 1 80mm side fan, 1 120mm rear and 1 120 front intake.

Thanks

Alex
