I've got two 250gb 7200.10's and I haven't noticed any noise at all. Although I'm guessing the reviews you read weren't about a computer that had many fans. I love the two drives and I only wish I had the money to buy another two for raid 0+1.

yeh to the OP, the 7200.10 are pretty quiet, fairly cheep for me too.
