Beta Vista Compatibility, Performance and Reliability Packs - Page 7

I have noticed significant improvement in really one area....and thats large file transfer via explorer. Which I likey...I still have odd quirks with vista that I am trying to tackle (like when my system comes out of sleep my FSB ALWAYS drops to 194????)...but dig the OS nonetheless

here use these http://www.overclock.net/attachments...p?d=1185989628

i have found it best to install them right after a re-install of the OS before you install any other updates or any other programs.

Oh, man... I seriously don't want to reinstall Vista and all my programs.... do you think it's worth it if I install right now?

well i personally thought it was worth it for me, but it's really easy for me to re-install because of how i have everything backed up so i just run a program and it gets all my data back, then i just install all my programs which i have pre- downloaded. you should just install them now, see how much they help, and if you think it would be worth it then do it. it actually raised my 3dmark score when i did that.
