firefox for me, with addons I got mine to block all advertisements, tell me how the weather is, and go even faster with tweaking tools. and you can get al kinds of skins for it to make it look awesome too.

Oh yea, that's another thing. Opera blocks 100% of ads. I know you can do this in Firefox with plugins, but... who needs a plugin when you got Opera!

I prefer FireFox because I've come to depend on some of my plugins while browsing. Ad Block Plus and Fasterfox may be the best thing ever.

Opera is generally faster, though.

The number of addons for Firefox, also back when I first tried Opera they had a ton of adware in it, it had kinda put me off from giving it a second chance. I have installed it recently to check it out some more but found it offered nothing over Firefox that I needed. I use Opera on the Wii and phone but it's stripped down a lot

Opera. I tried both FF and Opera, and personally, I prefer Opera, it seems to be quicker and Speed Dial is very useful.

Thread Starter
I tried to install Opera, but it wouldn't let me. Said some dll's were bad in my system. Ever since I ordered that new mobo I've been abusing my OS with a bunch of stuff to see what it can handle. Guess it's starting to die. Hopefully the mobo gets here in three days lol.

I like Opera over FF. It has a slightly smaller memory footprint than FF. Also Opera runs better in FreeBSD when I first started using FreeBSD a year ago. So over the past year I started using it in Linux, XP, and OSX also. I like it. The one thing I wish it had though was extensions. I love speed dial though in opera, and how, to me at least, it looks a bit more "minimal", and I like that.
