What should i do, oil cooled? this is for fun.

i currently have a few old pc parts laying around that i can have fun with, like a
asus mobo with a 900 mhz duron
amd xp 1900+ with msi mobo
dell p3 866mhz or 1.2 ghz celeron

now what should i do with it,
something like this caught my attention:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mo5eZ9VljOk

but i have a question about, does the oil need to be maintained, i mean like over a period of several weeks, will stuff start growing in the oil? even if i have it completely sealed off except a few air holes due to the cables? everyone does it, but there is no new of maintaining it or what not.

if i do it, i'll have to do with expendable parts like a dell p3 866. lol

AFAIK, if you use the right oil (mineral oil) you dont have to change the oil too often (few monts)
also: you cant leave the PC running, as the oil will heat up too. you should let it cool down at night.

Oil cooling will provide worse temps than watercooling.

Also, you still need a method of radiating the heat into the environment. A closed case without a radiator means your PC will cook.
Once again...

lol well im going to find a pump that is either made for pumping oil, or can handle the viscosity. then use a a/c radiator with thick copper tubing or a bigger tubing radiator, not the standard water cooling radiator.

i didn't say i was going to do it. i said i was thinking about it, looks like fun. and if i can close it off competely with no air flow, does the oil have to be changed?

if i use motor oil i don't think it would have to be changed

cryraxz if he can find a pump and then push the oil through a radiator as he was refering to why shouldn't he be able to close it off then?
