Nvidia Owns Desktop Graphics Market; ATI Heads Downhill - Page 2

I actually slapped a 4400 out of someone's hands once and wrote www.newegg.com on a piece of paper and handed it to them.

Oh and big whoop if Nvidia happens to put out more integrated graphics in desktops than AMD. That isn't going to kill AMD or anything. I mean look Intel pwns them both.

Ahh man. Good memories during the Ati 9800series release. I remember taking my friends 9800 that was overheating, slapped a 20$ AC heatsink and voila!

I hope that whatever ATI brings out next will truly increase the competition between them and Nvidia.

I just kinda laughed, and one of them turned around to look at me. I'm guessing he was just saying that because it was pretty much the most expensive card there. Maybe I should have said something, but I just walked away shaking my head.
LOL my dad just got a x1650pro 512MB APG for his old dell 8300 and he was telling me how he would own my rig with his 3.0GHz P4 and his new video card.
He had now idea what he was talking about,Then he fried his PSU not knowing it was only 200watts then whent to the store and payed out the @$$ for a 620watt PSU for a system that uses half that power at 100% load, ,It was just the funnyest thing i have ever seen i had to stop my self for lol so much i didnt whant to hurt his fealings .I think a lot of people still base better proffmance of higher modle numbers with out doing any realy reseach into what there buying.
