Note sure there is. I simply have smart monitoring enabled in the BIOS..

Not that care about failure too much anyway as I only use my raptors for windoze & my programs. All my important data is on another drive.

I gotcha. Yeah the same goes for me, just want to prevent another format is all, biggest pain in the ass is to reinstall windows and all my apps and settings.

hmm well I got the raid to work but for some reason my other drive isn't showing up. It is recognized in the bios but not in windows.

I have all my stuff stored on another drive so I can usually have my main drive fomatted, windows & main programs installed, and most of my settings done in about 1.5 hours..its no biggie..just a bit of pain..

Windows will see both drives as 1 x HDD. The total size of the drive should be the 2 HDDS totalled together.

Buy a small 20 gig drive, create a Norton Ghost Image with all your settings and programs installed . . . and never worry about it again
