I know many half talked about the thermaltake tidewater http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835116017 as a good stand alone unit and wouldn't mind it but I haven't heard anyone bring this one up yet as far as if it is any good or not. any one have any ideas on this one?

Might as well go all the way water..... you won't find many (if any) that would recommend one of these "kits." It's best to go custom because it will cool you much better and is much more durable than these kits. Would you trust your $300+ graphics card to a dinky little kit? (unless your WC your 9250, lol)

If you wanted to take the plunge, go for something like this:

It's the closest to a kit that's actual worthwhile!

Petra's kits are great. Nice parts, and a good price.

I coudl easily understand getting a whole setup but as it sits now I'm satisfied with my cpu temps as they have already allowed me to hit max overclock without overvolting. 50*c at 1.55v setup in bios. sure could be a little lower but I'm not that worried about that part. is more of the vga I'm worried about. sure it is for my x1950xt (broken hope rma but if refund i get 8800 320mb) and I don't want to break it again but I have heard at least good results with the tidewater and it seems to be a reliable kit (again from what I have heard can't prove it). if I could buy a decent watercooling setup for my cga card for aorund 60-70bucks though I would be happy though I doubt it can be done which would leave me with stock air

the 9250 can't have aftermarket cooling as they epoxy the passive heat sink to the core itself. nice backup card huh for a good system just like my broken ram right now
