Still quite a long time though. Half a month. So I'm expecting to wait half a month - 1 month for it to return. >_<
Wait. You're in the UK, that's a whole different story then. But since the Extended 3 Year Warranty, there is still going to be quite a lot of waiting time...

I highly doubt youll get a whole new 360, microsoft is gonna screw you every chance they get if it means saving them some money.

Good luck with it though! I already sold my 360. 15 days actually sounds pretty short considering. Cuz im sure they are having to fix 100s of thousands of them, and they have to determine the problem, if its worth fixing, and if its worth fixing, actually fixing it. Then count all the shipping days..

As far as I know, it's 3 Day UPS Shipping here in the US. But after all that time waiting for the tech guys to examine the console and determine what the problem is, it's not worth it.

Well that's what I tried doing. I talked to the supervisor and I said to her "what can you do to make my experience better with Microsoft?" I expected something pretty big through all that hassle with the X360 and Customer Support, and instead, I got a $20-$30 bribe with either Kameo or PGR3.

Will all the problems for XBOX be resolved in time for the price cuts? My friend's thinking about getting one but hes worried about the Red Ring of Death.

It should be solved by then. Despite all those ROD issues. I heard that the new X360's would have a 65nm CPU to reduce heat, but that was SUPPOSED to be solved back in Spring 07'... Source.

Yeah thats what I heard all over the net. Is there any way to find out if your XBOX comes with the new 65nm CPU?

How long has it been since you purchased your XBOX?

By all means purchase a 360. My one was a first revision console; I got it when they came out. Therefore quite a few of them did have problems, and I consider myself lucky that mine lasted for around a year and a half! The ones being sold nowadays I'm sure are more stable and reliable, although I fully recommend purchasing the extended warrenty, if they still offer it.
