I laughed when i saw this thread, out loud. Seriously

But have you checked dell? They are normally pretty good for low end computers.
You guys can argue all you want but you know it's true.

Check their refurbished section, i have seen some gooood deals on there.

I'm betting refurbished dell straight from dell will be your most viable option.

honestly dezixn is right, for a low end pc that doesn't need good cooling or a good gpu dell and hp can be pretty good

I was reading an article and they compared pre-built to build ot yourself desktops under 500$.

The prebuilt SMOKED then all (as long as there wasn't a dedicated video card)

Let me ask my gf how she wants it, she might change her mind. her previous machine was the E machine. broke down yesterday and i think its the power supply problem. she might wants me just to replace the PSU to save money....
