2560x1600 Upgrade comparison

Thread Starter
I'm about to go from a Toledo AMD clocked at 2.6Ghz with 2gb in Vista 32bit, to a Q66 clocked at X.xxGhz in Vista 64bit with 4GB Ram on a 680I Evga.

As I use a dell 30" HC and try to run when possible with good settings at 25x16 res I thought I'd do a list of comparison bench marks only at this resolution.

Here's an Image I did showing the difference of some of the resolutions up to 2560x1600.

And if you would like the original image is here.

please only positive comments, No " why the hell do you need that res".

Bench range will be AMD toledo at 2.6ghz, Q66 stock and Q66 clocked.. then maybe Q66 clocked on water with SLI 88's.

I'll also included a snapshot of the stats plus an in bench 2560x1600 image

Below is a FPS graph of a 120second run through the Harbor level in bioshock. first with 1 core (3 cores disabled with affinity) and all 4 cores. the run had daddy walking about. includes water falls fire and large area's. good for a rough comparison.

Oh yes it is.. The COH image shows DX10 coming home! May have to do some comparison snaps for dx9 dx10 on that one.

Can you post comparison screen shots for games that have been adjusted so you can actually play them? lol

Just curious to know what to expect with that kind of GPU power and what kind of settings you need for playability too.
