Customer build - Page 2

To you people who say pre-built...YOU CAN'T get a cheaper price than that with the same performance!

On to the question!
It all looks pretty good.
1)I would spend the rest of that money on a quiet 120mm fan for the front.
2)I'm assuming you are using the cooling that comes with the CPU. (Will work just fine for her).
3)Do you have extra wires? I mention this because the HD and the motherboard won't have wires with them. (Well, the motherboard MIGHT)
4)I like that you got her a 1Gb Ram card. Good for upgrading later!
5)I would not go with a cheaper case...that is one of the main things that a novice will notice...you don't want it to look bad!

BTW: whe3ls you forgot a power supply!

well i would consider getting an nvidia refurb biostar for $5 more. Not sure about the Via chipsets.

As for the pre-built it is true if you look for a while you WILL find a Dell or other that will kill any build we can come up with although I dont see any right now.

Looks like a decent build to me, one that should work for you and the customer.

I will consider that. I was thinking of maybe a 57CFM Panaflo with low dB
