I think we should rename the thread to "Post your PC's high tech floor fan cooling system pics"

I kinda have to though, as my cards are fanless. The temps for each reach up to around 80c (which I think is too high)

Hehe, yeah I gots me a floor fan too, don't worry. It's just too old school for there to be a pic of it to post.

And my card used to reach that temp when I kept my case closed, now it has to stay opened because I modded my radiator to mount on my HD bay plate. And my floor fan blows right on my rad too, for an added bonus.

No 30c though...or else I'd be sub zero

we make fun of people that talk about oil and refrigerators too. btw, using that floor fan and air conditioner to keep your PC cool is only costing you about $1.50 an hour to operate. also, if my CPU dropped by 30°C, it would just about be frozen.

the point i'm trying to make is that you don't have to have such an elaborate setup if you just shop for the right parts and put it together well. my CPU has only read about 50°C in books - it has no idea what that actually feels like

Those fans are nothing, I have a friend that cut a hole in the side of his case and mounted a squirrel fan in it. Lout as hell but cut temps by more than half. Their was so much pressure inside the case we took a front bay out and air would rush out. Fun times
