Check out the online deals where I posted the deal on the 22 inch Acer at Best Buy. I think it is the same price as the one you're choosing or cheaper.

EDIT: You sure your parents want a case with all the lights n' stuff? What about a clean and sleek cooler master $50 case?

Yes to that as well. I have the Acer 2223W 22" and it is great. I paid $259 in April for it. Bestbuy in store price is $189 as of last weekend. Great deal.

If you're running Vista it would be advisable. For $20 more it would also speed that rig up considerably.

Don't get that Optiquest monitor. Go to Best Buy and buy an Acer 22" for $189 with NO rebates. Way nicer monitor, better resolution, and bigger screen.
