It depends on what size you're looking for. I currently am using a 22 inch monitor with my 640mb 8800 and it works perfectly.

for the video card-->is the 320mb nVidia the best bet or should I go with 640...can you overclock graphics cards as well and is it too dangerous to do so?

what kind of set up could you suggest and could you possibly put some links up so I could read about them?

I don't even know what websites to begin looking at when trying to purchase all of this equipment

monitor-->I don't like anything as large as that tbh

I would prefer something around a 17-19 inch, maybe a 20in??

I'm pretty open, just need to know where to start looking for monitors and what prices are reasonable

for example, I saw this monitor today in an add from Staples:

X2 Gen 19inch wide screen LCD Monitor
1440x900 resolution
$139.98

in place of that c2d I'd prefer to have a c2quad if possible since I feel in the future the quad will be a better option...just as of right now it may not be

I guess I'd need a motherboard to unleash the power of the quad as well-->does that motherboard listed up top work for that purpose?

the graphics card is out of stock-->if it were in stock, would the 320mb graphics card be good enough for the current games and all future games? How does the 320mb compare to the 528 mb cards? Are 528mb cards better than the 320mb? I'm not really sure how any of that works

The tower-->does this come with fans already? and what fans would I need for the c2quad?

I'm not sure what all of that stuff is that you have listed on your wish list (I am a complete newb I am sorry )

is there a place I can read about good compatability for mobo/cpu/graphics cards?

what is the difference in 2gb ram 667 or 800? (or something like this?)

and once again, what is the difference between a 320mb/512mb graphics card?
