Hey guys, for some reason my X-Fi Fatal1ty isn't booting with my Abit iP35 PRO, but without the soundcard it boots fine, I get a 25 error

Any ideas ?

Are you running vista and what is the issue does it just not boot at all or gets to bios and such.

ANd without it it fires right up huh. Thats weird do you have another sound card to test.

Reason I ask is I have the regular extreme gamer and it works just fine just with vista I had some driver issues with the latest drivers so I had to roll them back.

Did you try another pci slot by chance

try this:

take the card out, go into the BIOS and go to onboard peripherals config or whatever it is on your board and turn off the onboard sound card. save settings and restart, get into windows, and shut down. throw in the x-fi, start up again.

See if that allows you to at least get into windows and install drivers.
