Maybe some added security, but I don't know what else they can do. Also DX9L (think thats what its called?), the DX10 equivalent for XP.

I disable both UAC and superfetch as soon as I get to the desktop when I install Vista.
I disable UAC (because I know what I'm doing) but superfetch works great. my programs load faster than they did on XP and City of Heroes has never played as smooth as it does now.

DX10 will never come to XP. We can say hat right now. That Sp3 will NOT add DX10. It's counteractive to their buisness plan for Vista if they do.

Agreed. Dx10 is the only thing that Vista has on Xp. Ruin that and you've stopped any reason to have Vista.

Did you completely miss my last post with all the features Vista had over XP?

Microsoft needs to hurry up and make a strict-gamer OS. I'd pay good money for one.
That would be cool if they made an os that didnt really have anything. Just an advanced os for gamers. Just loaded the basic crap we need to run a game and that was it. I would def buy that.
