Thread Starter
Well, i think about a new 22" TFT Monitor from IIYAMA. Are all Games compatible with a 22" TFT ?

Now i use a 17" TFT and all works well. Is it importend what GPU i use ? Now i have a 7800 GTX from Asus.

What ist the difference between 17" und 22" gaming just the resolution or more ?

thx Guys

Bassically all games will work on a 22" but games like BF2 will run streched.

Also the antive resolution will be higher so some settings may need to be turned down on your card, but not many.

Wide Screen Gaming, there are four different possibilities: http://www.widescreengamingforum.com...Games_List_-_A

Since going from 1280x1024 to 1680x1050 is a jump in resolution, expect performance to drop a bit.
Once again...

just so you know, and im sure that article mentioned it to early to read though lol. For games like battlefield you can run them in any resolution and set the monitor not to stretch the image. I do this for a lot of games that sont support widescreen or before my new card couldnt max at my resolution i would run them at a lower resolution and it just letterboxed it like a movie.

Just seconding this... 1680x1050 does take some power, I remember playing most games on high at 1280x1024 but now games like Insurgency I really have to turn the graphics down for good fps at 1680x1050. More than I honestly would have thought
