Overclocking Q6600 Air - Page 2

Im at 3.2 on my EVGA 680i and it seems I have a fair bit more room for overclocks. But the P35 boards are the best I hear.

I know, I've had my own hands on two different P35 boards. I'm asking where you got the notion that P5K offers a marginally better overclock. That's all.
Seen an nFarce pushing 500fsb+ lately? And on a Q6600?

I didn't think so either.

You don't THINK is the problem. Prove to me that it can't?

You and I both know that CPU weeks make a difference in all of that. Til someone shows me the same Q6600 hitting 500fsb on another board not doing the same, and it's MARGINAL.. not some measely 498 vs 500fsb... is when I'll agree that the P5K- while a great board- is destroying all other P35 Boards.

680i's got voltage probs pushing Quads... was in denial for a while... but ... it's true. My G0 is doing wonders below 360FSB, but anything over it becomes unstable... sometimes working, sometimes not... it's a voltage issue... there are soldering mods you can do to help it though.
