Antec 900 vs. NZXT Nemesis Elite

Thread Starter
I have finalized my case decisions down to the Antec 900 and the NZXT Nemesis Elite. Give me you thoughts of both.

Been looking at the NZXT Apollo and I like it because of its sleek look.
No offense, but the NZXT Nemesis looks ugly. I'm not particularly fond of the Antec 900, either, but at least it looks better than the Nemesis. Get the 900, if you really want to get either of them.

Well the Antec 900 is a really nice case. The outside is very sleek and clean looking and then with all the lights, it gives it a nice gamer feel. It's also the perfect size for carrying to lan parties and moving it around. Has awesome airflow with all the fans in the case. The cable management can be hard, but what can you expect from a Mid Tower? Honestly, I think it's going to come down to what you're going to put in the computer. If you're going to run SLI Ultras and 6 hard drives, then you're going to need to go full tower. But if you're like me, running 1 8800 and 1 hard drive, the Antec 900 is perfect. You can't go wrong with the 900. Thats why 10% of people on OCN have it.

Personal preference.

I don't like the Nemesis so the 900 gets my vote.

Antec 900 all the way.
1)It comes with 3x120mm + 1x200mm fans already installed w/ the option of you installing 2 more 120mm fans.
2)It has better rating on Newegg
3)(personal preference here) It doesn't have that weird thing on the front
4)It allows you to change your configuration between
A)3 external 5.25, 6 internal 3.5
B )6 external 5.25, 3 internal 3.5
C)9 external 5.25
5)It also has a 5.25-->3.5 conversion bracket for one of the external slots.
6)Its cheaper (if you get a MIR.) I got mine from Newegg for 89.99, + free S/H
7)No weird door that you have to open to get to your external bays.

Antec 900. Awesome all the way. http://www.3dgameman.com/content/view/6347/48/

Nemisis. Not so awesome.

Antec 900 for me. I don't like the front of the other case. But the temperature monitor looks nice and handy.

This is true. It depends on what you're going to use it for. I have the 900, and it works great for me. 2 HDDs, 1 Vid Card, Zalman CPU Fan, and it stays cool. Avg. case temp is 72f, blows cool air out the back, even @ full load.

900 gets my vote.

I'll let you choose. I have the Antec Nine Hundred.

Breakdown
  • The 900 has better air flow
  • Get's a lot of dust in over time, so you'll need to dust everything out once in a while
  • Not too big, pretty small case.
  • Wire management is not very good

I can't tell you much about the NZXTs but I personally think the Nemesis Elite is ugly and the 900 definitely has better air flow than it. But, you'll won't have as much of a problem with dust.
