But yeah, E4300 and E6400 should oc about to the same height unless you tank and get a crappy E4300 or vice versa.

As for the board, why not get one of the P35 boards? maybe a P5K deluxe (200$ or so) or a gigabyte GA-P35-S3L or DS3 or so..(they're all the same preety much)
but it was stable only long enought to get the screeny (according to him)

I say get what you want in the irst post.

That will be great

Go with what your comfortable with. The 6420 should be excellent. And you probably don't want to fuss with all the cooling etc. But if you want to OC, you should get a Tuniq Tower :-D.

I can't wait for when I'm like 80 years old and people are like:

"Dude, he had his vCore at 2233.2volts. Supreme undervoltage for the X5300023555555 MillionCore Processor."

The P5WDH is a good board but the P35s are better now.

This would be a better board: GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3P

Then there's the ASUS P5KC: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131188

But it does not support RAID and apparently people is not liking that. So, for the price, the GIGABYTE would be better. And IMO, just as good as the ASUS for overclocking.
