Looks like a solid build. You could still shave off a few $, here and there, but nice all around.

*btw, nice sig rig! I use my P4P800-vm to test out all of my pin-mod'd 478's. Still runs 24/7.

These modules easily do 1066mhz and also more than that.

The G.Skill HZ DDR2 800 $130.

Save yourself $50 and get the Tuniq Tower 120 instead of the Thermalright.

Where could I shave off a few dollars? Btw, I don't feel too good overclocking 800Mhz DDR2 all the way to 1066Mhz. Besides I could overclock the 1066Mhz DDR2 ram sticks to 1150Mhz easy. How much do you think I could overclock a EVGA 8800GTS 640MB will the stock cooler [B]AND[B] a add-in slot cooler?

cheaper dvd drive

G0 rev. Xeon Quad

other than that..a cheaper case and cheaper mobo could save you some $$ too.*As for the 8800gts..go for an aftermarket cooler...you could always add the slot cooler later.

What would be a good aftermarket cooler for the 8800GTS? How would the temperatures compare with the stock fan and the add-in cooler, (which I already own) and with a aftermarket cooler with a good overclocks fir each.

Just remember, come October when you order, all prices will be different and you will need to research prices again.

little cheaper on the quad but no guarantee of a g0

http://www.ncixus.com/products/25434...62X3210/Intel/

I dont think I would bother with an aftermarket vga card cooler, vmod the ram a bit, and oc the core to max with stock volts. the stock coolers are fine for now
