PA120.3 shroud on SwiftechMCR320?

Do you think this shroud:

would work on an MCR320 rad? I know there aren't any mounting holes on the side of the 320, but I'm sure I could rig something up to make it mount. I already purchased and received the rad, but I don't want to waste $25 to order the Shroud and not even have it close to fitting. Does anyone know if the two will "mate" properly with maybe even some minor tweaking?

hmm, i would have to see the exact size of both things to see about that :/

although it should fit im thinking, use some calk or double sided tape

edit: there would be more replies im thinking, but its because its late at night here

That's the problem I'm having... I don't want to spend the money on the shroud if the two won't be able to be put together. I'll have to call FrozenCPU up and see what their return policy on that would be just in case.

I was thinking along the same lines... use some caulk to make everything play nice together.

I will wait until later on this evening to see if more people reply. Maybe someone on here has already done this and can let me know.

it simply wont fit the way it was meant to on the PA rads. however, ducttape can perform miracles.
if you dont want to use that, or somthing similar, make your own shroud. cardboard makes nice shrouds...

I think I'll go ahead and order the shroud and see how good or bad it fits on my rad... but after I wait until more people respond.

Maybe I can compare using caulk and duct tape!?! Ha!Ha!

Guess nobody else wants to comment on this one, zac....

My plan is to first install the fans without the shroud and see how that runs. Then eventually I'll order the shroud and check the temps with the shroud... I really don't expect much of a difference. I've seen on some forums where the difference is only 1-3 degrees, but still I guess it would be worth putting the shroud on.

I am taking my time putting this whole LC system together so don't expect results any time soon.... sowwy

You could make your own shroud out of disposable tupperware (ziploc/glad) plastic tub boxes. It works just as well and you can fit it and cut it easily to suit your radiator.

I've heard and seen the whole tupperware shroud setup. It looks really ghetto to me and I want my shroud setup to look halfway normal! Ha!Ha! I was thinking about going the tupperware route for temporary, but knowing my lazy butt, I would probably just leave it there for a long time. I'm in no hurry to get this WC up and running so I'm just gonna take my time and do things nicely. Thanks for the suggestion though!
