Of current news on new products such as the upcomming AMD DD3 series motherboards.

No one currently updates that thread.

So I cannot give it official status until someone does.

Just make a thread if you need advice.

If there is no club for it you are allowed to make a club but do not use the unofficial tags or any symbols in the title. Just leave it as something like "The MSI 870 Series Club" and be prepared to keep the thread up to date with accurate information.

I would like to recommend the [UnOfficial] Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5/UD7 Owners Thread/Club thread. It has a helpful, active, and responsive community following that includes many of the regular followers of the [Official] Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5/UD7 Owners Thread/Club, P1 is updated regularly, has been growing steadily, and provides useful information.
Because many people are brand loyal, this thread has been deliberately structured to compliment it's predecessor so that members who are migrating along the natural upgrade path will find the information they need in a familiar format.

Thank you, for your continued support.

I'll keep an eye on it

Making a club official before the products are out would be a bit silly though.

You may wish to consider adding the 990FXA-UD3 as it's supposed to be very similar to those boards as well. Possibly the 99FXA-D3 as well.

Make a thread called "The MSI 790X-G45 Owners Club" and then keep relevant info in the OP (like what the best BIOS is, maybe links to driver downloads, and owners manual" a long with a list of users that you keep up to date.

Thanks man! I'm sorta new to this site. It has been the best thing i have found though. this beats Toms hardware by a mile. how do you "rank up"on this site, get awards and such?

Well common sig badges you see are for our Folding @ Home Team.
You'll see Chimp Challenge, Fold-A-Thon Participation, and Million badges for that.

We also have Case Mod competitions and you'll see badges for that.

As for the "Flames" above the user names; that is based on rep.

You can read more about such things in this thread

Click the link I gave and it'll link you to the various important F@H threads.

Joining the team is simple, you just start folding for our team number (37726) though it's all explained in the Folding @ Home section.

If you need help, just make a thread there, plenty of folks around to help out.

I took your advice and added the entire 990FXA series as they will have obvious similarities and subsequently similar solutions to comparable issues.

In other news, these boards have now been released in various parts of the world and I have begun to have CPU-Z validated members. It is expected that NewEgg will begin selling the GA-990FXA-UD7 by the weeks end which will no doubt generate a flurry of activity.

Given that your concerns have now been addressed, would you be kind enough to revisit making this thread *Official* ?

I appreciate your ongoing support.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
