The CPU on video card mod

Thread Starter
Im sorry, but I cant seem to work the search feature properly. I know a little while back, there was a guide on how to turn a CPU cooler (I think it was a stock 775 one) into a nice video card cooler. Was there ever one, or am I just going crazy?

I had a 478 cooler on my 7600GT for a while. I took it off because it was ridiculously heavy, and was only marginally better than stock.

I wonder if some of the all copper, low profile CPU coolers would work well on a GPU
