These fans are the equivalent of the Scythe S-Flex medium CFM fans in looks, performance and quality. They feature a hybrid bearing very similar to the Fluid Dynamic Bearing. Unlike the newer models of Silenx these Robust server-grade fans are constructed from fiberglas reinforced black ABS plastic--the same material used in Nidec/Delta/Panaflo/Pabst server fans. These fans are OEM--no puckerpack--no mounting hardware. I have tested these fans and find them to be perfect for case cooling applications where silent operation is a concern.
