Your Input Required! Swiftech: What to carry.

Thread Starter
Hi guys I thought I would open this thread to get some input as to what you all would like for CyberDruidPC to stock RE: Swiftech merchandise. I will be placing an order later today and your input will factor heavily into what gets mounted to the store catalog.

Thanks!

www.swiftech.com is where to go to see the items.

At this time I have some copper tops coming in for the Apogee GTX that I am excited about...

From my POV I only want to stock items that are sure sellers...I already have a ton of LC gear in inventory so I will be pretty picky about what else I have in physical inventory.

The upside to all this is: special pricing on Swiftech for OverClock.net members (PM for details)

CD, how about the bare neccesity for custom kit? Since everyone is always ask... "I want to get a cheap WC kit". We always recommend them go get a custom kit usually made up of:

FuZion or Apogee GT
D5 Pump
120.2 or 120.3 rad
T-Line
7/16" Tubing

Why not just sell the kit?

Swifty offers a number of Kits. However (nothing against Swifty) I am a Thermochill fanboy.. so I have never tried the MCR line and honestly have trouble selling or reccomending items I have not personally used.

I plane to get a few more Waterblocks (I have only one GTX in stock ATM) and I have had great results with the Apogee GT. I lke it's "Storm" style of construction better than the GTX.

Of course the MCP655 is a tremendous pump...I will add a few more to stock..I have two ATM.

Tubing I generally get elsewhere (pricing) so the question still remains: wht else to order from Swiftech for my srtore?

I am planning on testing and reviewing their GFX waterblock kit on my HD2900XT so I will likely add a few of those too.

Thanks for the ideas!

Well I for one know that I've been eyeballing that H20-120 kit, mainly because I'm thinking of just WC the CPU and because I really don't want another thing that I have to make, I just want to plug it in, fill it up, turn it on, and be done with it.

There is always a chance. I will pursue that.

However...more input about an order from Swifty?

Does Swifty sell the Drive pumps now?

well there's always the MCW60 and the 8800 conversion kit (possible 2900 kit too?). I'd been eyeing them for ages, but ended up with Maze4's as i got them much cheaper XD. although i'm still up for a change-up.

and many people seem to like sticking those MC14 ramsinks everywhere aside from vga ram.

also the only reservoir i like is their MC-RES micro reservior. even tho those EK ones are sexy to no end, they're a tad expensive lol

I am aware of that thread. No telling..however Swiftech did take care of him. I will check ion the availability of parts for that kit when I order.

Yep those little RAMsinks are very useful.

Apparently that reservoir is the number one reservoir on XS forums...every build there has at least one--sometimes three!

I will be ordering some of the VGA cooling kits for sure.

Thanks again!
