they still give the black box for new ATI buyers? i thought the whole thing was shut down except for those who bought their GPU before they cancel it

right now i'm working on my sniper skills. i got back to soldier of demoman from time to time when i think its more appropriate.

and is it just me, or the most popular map is sandbox?

another thing i noticed, everytime i play, most of the servers are either full (sometimes 23/24) of emply (sometimes 2-3/24).

How is the sniping?

Anyone who has played BF2 and snipes a bit, how close is TF2 to it?

it is nowhere close to bf2. You hold down the fire button and your shot charges. A red or blue dot (depending on your team) will appear where you are aiming while you are charging. Just release the button and you fire the shot. No need to account for bullet drop or leading them really.

Also, are they ever going to have grenades or is this gone now?

Sniping in TFT2 reminds me of using the scout in css, it is 100% accurate when not using the scope and headshots are mostly an instant kill except for some characters. The head hitboxes are smaller in TFT2 though and a faster reaction time will help you out more in TFT2 also since the movement speed is faster. Ive learned to become a beast with the sniper though and there has been times when I have taken out 10 people with it in 1 round and have gotten no scope headshots.

Quick question:

What are the "achievements" for? I noticed an achievement for 25 headshots as a sniper, and went to look to find I had quite a few of these...
