that is why i said 18 instead of 24 ...you think 18 would really be that flimsy?

EDIT: Maybe it could be an engagement heatsink ( for guys of the extreme computer gender) instead of a ring ? lol

gold doesnt conduct much more than silver which is very minimal compared to copper

therefore, youd be looking at MAYBE a 1 C decrease in temps

silver is the metal that conducts heat the best. if you want the best metal heatsink silver is the way... second best thermal conductor is copper, gold comes in number 3 i belive, then aluminum. now if you want an expensive heatsink a dimond conducts heat more than twice as good as silver. bling bling
