Install the driver then use the wireless connection wizard (make sure you know your router's wifi pword if there is one)

I've tried wireless in my house, and I think they are filled with iron or something, because I got no signal anywhere in this 2200sq.ft. house. The only exception was right by the router, and even still it sucked.

Just so you know, I think most people are suggesting the e21XX and the 2900Pro assuming you are going to OC. If you don't, there will be a bottleneck. YOU HAVE TO OC!!!!!! Think about what this forum is called!!

...but really, it is strongly recommended you OC if you get a E21XX and 2900Pro. The excuse of "it wont last a long time" isn't really something to worry about. A MILD OC with good cooling will have your CPU lasting for more than you need it to

I'm sorry but if you don't plan on ordering/building until January this whole discussion is kind of pointless. I know you say you want to start planning now but it's really not that hard to get a build planned. Mostly we just need to know the cost($1200) of the build and you can be good to go in just a couple days. There is going to be some big releases in this industry in the next 3 months so it would be smart to plan your build then cause it will be different.

get an ASUS P5k-E for the motherboard because it has an intergrated wireless adapter which can act as an router. I have it and it works great.

If your worried so much about the longevity of the chip why don't you get a good cpu cooler like a AC Freezer 7 pro.

Thanks penicilyn. That build looks pretty awesome. I really like it. I really don't think he needs a sound blaster. That is just a waste of money at this point but it is still a great suggestion. I really like the combination of the video card and the cpu. It looks pretty good. The only thing i am worried about is that i need to get something else for internet. Is there an amd motherboard that has the wifi receiver?
