It won't fit if you do it the normal way (parallel to the RAM)

The other way it will fit (perpendicular)

But you totaly don't even need the side fan in the 900, the airflow has almost no room for improvement. you won't see any difference in temps with that fan

What i ended up doing is attaching a 80mm fan off center on the screen to have as much of its output blowing on my NB figure it cant hurt.

kinda a bit confused on weather i want to use the plastic fan holder or not, seems like it may block some extra airflow since the 200mm probably ends up pulling in some of its air from that

Cause I lose about 2C off my CPU temp, and a bit more off the video card...

Well I have seen some people mod their side panel so that the fan is hanging parallel rather than diagonal. I wouldn't be to hard to do, but yes I think the side fan does make a noticeable improvement... it dropped 3C off my video card.
