how do i make a password prompt in QBASIC?

im in a programming class in school and we are using qbasic. we are making a program that uses data and loops to make a teachers grade book. I'm done with that part but i want to make it so before you can run the program it asks for a password from the user. when typing the password i would like it to show up like this: ********

it is ok if it itsnt possible to make it show as ******

so the question is: how do i make a password prompt in QBASIC?

Ahhh... good ol' QBASIC. That was the first language I learned.

I don't remember what the color number is for black, but basicaly just make it so the background and text are the same color.

Edit: That was just something I remember doing back in high school when I was learning qbasic and was a noob as everything programming.
