The DP block reminds me of the Silverprop GPU block tops, big open chambers with the wall to restrict flow over the surface. Very nice design.

That V8p is absolutely killer! That barb is pretty intense too. What kind of tubing are you going to put on that Ira?

Seriously... Ira gets an Iwaki and all of sudden upsizes everything to 3/4" ID

Looks good, does it come with a crossbrace to prevent the mobo standoffs from ripping out?

How much do you think it weighs?

I am going to be working on a block saturday with teardrop shaped pins, hopefully I'll have something to show by the end of the day.

I'll have 3/4" tube from the res to the pump then 3/4" to the block...My rad will be my bottle neck because it has G1/4 fittings, I should get more turbulence and volume at least like that, I'll Y it back just before the rad for max volume...As hot as the TEC is I don't think the extra 30W or so from the pump will make much of a difference...I have the Iwaki vertical right under my 5 gallon bucket res so it will have a real good flooded suction on it....

Like fstfrddy suggested I might get a couple of OEM Bonnie-cores ith the 3/4" nipples and put one on each of the V8p's outs, that would give me almost max flow from the Iwaki I would think......Thats going to be one sick looking block with that fat barb in it.....

Hey RY I love those Silverprop blocks to...Not as much as my Stingers though......

EDIT: Here is another shot of my MOAB.I like that fstfrddy, thats kind of a catchy name....Attachment 59482

FYI

Just did some testing of base thickness, and it looks like I was wrong.

My thin line V2 block originally had about an .085" base with about a .005" step.

I milled that down to .045 with a .010" step and temps appear to have gone up.

My pins were about a .030" thickness, so apparently the base thickness is much more than "Thinner the better" or same thickness as the pin.

If I went the wrong way this time around, maybe I'll go a touch thicker next time...

Going to have to start on a new base...
