Stupid question. How do you reset cmos in evga 680i sli?

Thanks. I removed battery but did not seem to reset cmos. (I was just testing to make sure it would reset).

You probably need to move the jumper from its default position on the motherboard.

Yes, switch the jumper, it is at the very bottom of the board. Little cap with one open pin on it (3 pins total).

also, when you remove the battery, start the computer it, then turn it back off. reinstall the battery and turn the computer back on.

that's the ghetto way.

BTW, I removed the battery on mine and it reset the CMOS, not sure why it didn't for you.

I think your having the same problem as me.

I took the battery out, unplugged the power and still doesn't default cmos, the clear cmos jumper doesn't work either.

My board is Gigabyte DS3 rev 3.3 and its bricked...

Remove the power cable from the wall, remove the battery, then push the power button. Or just switch the jumper and power up and switch back...
