How to reset .xorg file?

Thread Starter
Well, I'm in LinuxMint and it's either, Compiz works very choppy and I have DVD playback, or Compiz works flawlessly and I have sound but no video in VLC and Totem...

Now that I've jacked with it so much, it will only boot into safe graphics mode ATM...so how to reset the .xorg file?

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Yeah, but they're AMD cards now and AMD <3 linux (at least comparatively )

Next time you have a working xorg take a look through it. If you familiarize yourself with the file you may be able to fix it next time instead of having to rebuild it
