JLumbs, try to do some digging around yourself.

The risky way:

- Attempt to get the frequency from each selectable PLL, if a PLL matches the displayed frequency with the specs of your hardware, write it down. Keep going until you have found all matches.
- Try changing the FSB on each individual match. If you get screen corruption or a locked up system - it's probably the wrong one. Reboot and move on to the next one. Keep going until you have a match that does not lock up.
- Now start CPU-Z to see if your CPU frequency is changing as you change the frequency in SetFSB. Stick to small steps. If it changes, then you've found the PLL that your system uses and can commence software overclocking. If it doesn't change, reboot (to clear any eventually changed registers) and try the next PLL.

* If there are no matches, then you're out of luck

Try with the shareware version and see if it has PLL support for your system.

The safe way:

- Open up your computer and find the PLL. It's usually located near to a clock generator. Example picture. Write down the number. See if there's a match in SetFSB for your current PLL. If there is, then you have your PLL and can use that for software overclocking.

Either way, keep an eye on the PCI and PCI-E frequency - you generally don't want a deviation from stock of more than 10%, as most hardware isn't designed to handle that.
