Possible Case for Spooky

post #1 of 27

Here is the Idea I had. I want it to house two rigs both will be watercooled each gets its own 480 rad or 360 rad. The Wonderful drawing shoes the 480.
I want the IO ports on each side so that I can basically have the rig in between two monitors and the IO ports coming out of each side will make things easy for plugging in.

Any ideas to go towards this?

Oh and anyone who wants to redraw that piece of poop I made is welcome to. If you guys have a better idea I would love to see it.

As I mentioned to Cyberdruid Via PM I am not 100% certain on when I will want this. And with life as uncertain as it is. This may not happen. I was wanting a quote and he wanted to see the drawing. I don't have the time to build anything my self so here it is. Oh and this is for him to give me a quote. I was looking at getting teh DD torture rack but decided to give CD a chance to wow me. Willing to pay more than what the torture rack costs for the work of a friend

yup I see what you're going for there. What dimensions are you looking for? It's a shame that you'll not be able to see both the systems with your current layout.

ITs going to be in acrylic

EDIT::::

As for dimensions I really dont know. I don't have the radiators so once we figure out what I want it to look like I will most likely send payment and enough for the rads so that he can order them and figure everything else out. He already has a quad rad I think.

Right, but how will you possibly arrange it on yoru desk in a way that you'll be able to see both systems? Rather than have the two motherboards laying opposite each other, perhaps you could do one in an Inverted position opposite the other, so that you will have all the I/O on one (back) side of the case. Then you could rig the two 480's side by side in the front, and with a simple lean you'd be able to peer into either.

It looks like your current configuration would require you to either have IO coming out of the front of the case, or you'd have to flip your case completely around in order to view the other side. OR! I'm terribly wrong at interpreting your drawing.

The case is going to be in between two montors. So I want the IOs coming out of the side. I really dont want the IO out of the front. And I don't plan on using both PCs at one time. One will most likely be for folding. not quite sure yet.

The Mozart can house one full system and one crippled mITX system.
