The guys at extreme were never able to exceed around 370 on a quad with this board without a vmod. Its pretty much a hard limit. Kunaak hit 470 with the board but he was running his nb at 1.95V! And thats only after spending 3 days getting the soldering mod completed.
3.4 is the effective ceiling with a Q6600. Mind you if you have the Q6700, it will run 10x360 (tried it on a rig I built for a friend with the P5N32-E). It will even do 3.7 but you will have to shell out another $200+ for the Q6700. Its only possible with this chip because of the 10x multi (As opposed to the 9x with the Q6600). |
I have trouble booting all the way into Windows at 450 X 8 though...
I stay away from the odd frequencies though because of my RAM...it doesn't like it much over 800Mhz...
But I think these boards are better than most people let on...finicky for sure though!! Watercooling helps a lot too...
