3.4 is the effective ceiling with a Q6600. Mind you if you have the Q6700, it will run 10x360 (tried it on a rig I built for a friend with the P5N32-E). It will even do 3.7 but you will have to shell out another $200+ for the Q6700. Its only possible with this chip because of the 10x multi (As opposed to the 9x with the Q6600).
Rob, I'm stable at 1500 (375Mhz) but with an 7 or 8 multiplier, these boards with a Q6600 will run 450Mhz (1800) or 7 X 1900 (475Mhz)...maybe even 500 X 7...(3.5Ghz)
I have trouble booting all the way into Windows at 450 X 8 though...
I stay away from the odd frequencies though because of my RAM...it doesn't like it much over 800Mhz...
But I think these boards are better than most people let on...finicky for sure though!! Watercooling helps a lot too...

Its not so much the FSB as the max overclock. (500x7 is 'not' a possibility stable with orthos with a Q6600 on the board. If you manage it without the GTL Vmod, Kingpin, shamino, kunaak and hipro will group hug you...)

As I previously stated, 3.4 is the max regardless of how you achieve it.

If you have benched in different ways (multi vs fsb ratios) you should know that the 680i boards bench faster the higher the multi/lower the fsb.

FINALLY!!! i have 3.2ghz on ASUS P5n32E Sli (BIOS 1203)...
but to me its still not enough..

I WANT MORE!!!!

anyways. my bios settings are as follows:

Voltage:

VCORE - 1.35625
memory voltage - 2.35
ht voltage - 1.3
nb votage - 1.35
bs voltage - 1.6
cpu VTT voltage - 1.55

FSB:

UNLINKED:
CPU FSB - 1425mhz
DDR2 - 950mhz

DDR2 timings 4-3-3-12 2T
(BY THE WAY DDR2 Kingston KVR800)

For now I just want to increase the CPU a lil bit more to around 3.4ghz

You'll need more voltage to the Northbridge and CPU for starters. 1.5 for the Northbridge and a tad over 1.4v for the CPU.

VCORE - 1.42125
memory voltage - 2.35
ht voltage - 1.3
nb votage - 1.5
bs voltage - 1.6
cpu VTT voltage - 1.55

tried gradually changing the fsb as soon as I entered 1500 it wont even go into windows just crashes at the begining

He's referring to the RAM voltage. 2.35v is a little high. You may want to try lowering it to 2.1v as well, unless your RAM is rated to run at that voltage.
