Look closely, they're in the 5.25" bays. My friend does the same with his PC-7FN. He bought a cheap 3.5" to 5.25" adapter from Microcenter and mounted his HDD in there.

I used the Scythe HDD Stabilizer x4 to mount the HDDs, two Kaze Jyu Slim 100mm fans to cool the drives, and a Silverstone SSD bracket for my Crucial C300.

Not enough open air goodness in here...

I loved this case so much I bought 2nd one to use at work. I set the new one up a little different this time though as I want the black one to be my main rig. MB tray more forward. No optical drive needed this time and 1 bay to house the new res.

Waiting for some more WC gear to arrive then I'll be moving everything over the the black chassis.

Red chassis will get demoted to my main rig at work, and then its time to start build epic retarded T1 spider HTPC.

Nice build! Man I love the tech benches that Lian Li makes. The only problem for me with how much dust accumulates in them. I guess that's a problem with all cases. My next build will most likely be a bench.

hey guys, adding my classic lian-li pc60 to the list, i bought it in 2002 when i was 16 for $180 and since then ive never had a different case. its held everything from an athlon xp 1700+ originally to my current i5-2500k@ 5.0Ghz.

i love it. nowadays the aluminum floppy drive bezel is just for looks, and i recently bought a lian li drive bay adaptor to put my HDs where 5.25 opticals go.

then i got a side panel with window recently, drilled holes for my WC loop to exit, cracked the cheapo 1/16" abs plastic accidentally , and had to drill out the pop rivets and custom install a 3/16" acrylic window instead.

what you see in the vids below next to my pc60 is a matching external WC loop chassis i custom built. I bought a half sheet of acrylic, aluminum strips, took out some graph paper, power tools, and got to work.

here are the vids:

Haha yes this is a big problem. Just keep your fingers as non-oily as possible and I use one of those microfiber cloths to clean it down.

Sounds excessive, but when I work on mine I put on nitrile gloves (I have LOTS at home). Also, if you get fingerprints, the best way to remove them IMHO is to use those moistened monitor wipes. I bought the two-pack from Staples.com when they were on sale.

Monitor Wipes: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Monit...?cmArea=SEARCH

You can find cheaper alternatives elsewhere, but this works for me.
