So I found this little gem on Craiglist: http://austin.craigslist.org/sys/2800993351.html

I'm considering it just for a side project. What do you guys think? It's a PC-62, by the way.

I think the metal is worth $30, too bad it isn't black.

Yeah, black would be nice. The only big issue with the PC-62 is the lack of 120mm fan holes. All the fan holes are 80mm so watercooling is off-limits.

But hell, for $30 I'd might as well.

Anybody know where I could find the windowed side panel for the PC-A77F? I found a few places that HAD them, but they're all out of stock. I've read that it's been discontinued as it is an older case now, but if anyone in here knew, I would certainly appreciate it.

I was thinking of getting a window custom cut in the side panel, but if there's still some out there, it would save me from loads of trouble.

For that price you might as well buy a router and make your own window.

And I think I'm beginning to agree with this. I'm trying to contact someone in my area about using their CNC Machine to cut something out of the left side panel, but I also mentioned that I may have cut a window out of my right one. And that way it'll be custom thumb.gif

Hey guys
Here is my A05. Just did some tiding up. Added a Seagate 200 GB HDD from an external enclousure that died a few weeks ago. Also upgraded my cooler to a Coolermaster 212 Plus.
This case wil soon see live as my HTPC as I am in the process of getting a V1000B. The case has served me well during the past few years of ownership. I saw a V1020 and fell in love with it, then I saw the V1000 series and no Im hooked. The problem is that they are so expensive (at least for my blood, hence the system with DDR2 frown.gif)....Once I get that I will be upgrading to a mobo that supports DDR3 and get a nice 8GB kit. A little down teh road from that Ill supliment that with a newer AMD chip and SSD, and hopefully by then, HDD prices are lower so I can stock up on a few drives. I also plan on upgrading my trust 5670 to something a little beefier.
Cant go too crazy as my 1yr old daughter overrides the PC Gaming fund...

I was thinking of getting a window custom cut in the side panel, but if there's still some out there, it would save me from loads of trouble.

This is a little less expensive (although maybe no after buying the acrylic to go with it.), and in my opinion a way better looking option: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=130_158_280&products_id=24953

I have been toying with the idea of getting this one to remove the mesh and install an acrylic window. I don't like Lian-Li's weird hourglass windows, and in many case reviews I've seen that use them, they seem to crack in transit. This shape is more basic and appealing to me...and you don't have to worry about rivets cracking the window before it gets to you. thumb.gif
