Looks like it works like most D5 pumps. My EK one prior to the refresh has a similar pump top design and works no issue.

Having said that all depends on you you position the loop, but I would probably look at one of EK's new Revo D5 pumps https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-xres-140-revo-d5-pwm-incl-pump looks like input and output are at the top so you could position it towards then end of the GPU section and have the input and output on the side and the Res on top ensures the pump is always fed.

Also may just be an idea of looking at DDC. While I believe the general consensus is they are loud, I do not find that to be the case, more so on lower RPM's when compared to my D5 pump. The smaller nature may make it easier to work with in the case and I suspect it will have little issues with any loop you can build in this case which would generally be fairly limited anyway.

I had aleady order parts from peformance pcs so too late to change to a ddc lol im not paying a restocking fee.

Also ordered the mod top from Daz already, was just curious if anybody had any tips to connect easier or if maybe the reviews were exaggerating

My modest Lian-Li PC-C60B: The radiator extension panel on the top was necessary to fit the EVGA GTX980Ti Classified with a water block. Cable management isn't great, but the inside isn't visible with the top on.

Picked up a PC-07s and a PC-O5s. Going to move the server into the PC-O5s from it's current PC-T1B. I'm saving the PC-07s for a build I'm planning. Had to get it before they all get snatched up.

Similar type of product. The specific one I am using is by aquacomputer. There farbwerk (German work for colour factory) system. Works similar in that you have a control module which plugs into a usb header then lighting strips attached. But if you have a custom loop goes a step further as you can add tempreture fittings into your water loop which the module reads and automatically adjusts the lighting based on water tempreture, a nice bonus if your going down watercooling route. Also has 4 indavidually controlable strips vs the 2 on the nzxt.
