My cards backplate gets pretty warm, so I think any airflow at the back will help. Even without modding, a pci cooler would probably help.

Something like this, easy to hide in the case:

I can try that, just need another riser.

How is it giving fresh air tho? Since the air in the bottom is all going to be hot air from the gpu/the case doesn't really provide much fresh intake

It's still air flow.

It's like those hand held mini fans people have on hot days. It's not getting any cool air, but it's still being blown on you and cools you down.

If it's cheap, it's worth a try. And I don't think you need another riser. I've seen those and if I recall correctly, they just screw onto the rear expansion slot. You plug the fans in normally with a 3-4pin.

edit: Lian Li even sells some. http://ep.yimg.com/ay/yhst-24067115789173/lian-li-internal-pci-cooler-bs-08-silver-or-black-17.gif

Lol, now that I think about it, that PCI cooler bracket might work to hold a 240mm radiator if you were to add some slight bracing/support to it.

That's actually my plan as well with the next phase of my build. Since I already cut the panel, I have the radiator from behind. Theres space for a medium thick EK 240 PE rad behind the gpu, and then a 360 rad at the top.

I was looking into the pic cooler in your picture and it looks like it can also put a fan above my card. That would helps blow the hot air away and then the 2nd fan can blow onto my backplate

I'm on a O5S so even that won't fit. But I bought the bracket anyway to test out the possibilities.

So tried the heavens word benchmark and I got max of 80C/74% fan speed.
That's better than I was getting before (new fans and new gpu) but I'll definitely look into the pci cooler

I got a great deal on a PC-05 over the weekend. Are there any replacement parts for the top so I can get a vented top? As it sits there is only 1 fan now. Bummer.

My mobile-LAN case finally arrived.

Lots of people apparently hate how this case looks laughingsmiley.gif, but I like it.
