Too lazy to take everything out and go get it painted, i would have if it was the first day i brought the case home....i'm going clear coolant this time, changing it up a little.

this build is very similar to the last build, lol..i guess i found my ideal setup.

Can i ask how u managed to get the PSU down the bottom of this case? The bracket has a few postions but the bottom doesnt appear to have the holes?

Thanks

That's a really old pic, what I did was used a right angle power cord, and used double sided tape to hold the power supply down there. Let the psu sit on top of the power cord and the tape secure it, only bad thing is to remove the power supply require tremendous force, I should've used 5lbs tape not 15.

Go forward in the thread, there are better pics of my pc

Any PC-O8 owners here who are water cooling? I've been reading about issues fitting a rad in the front section and how it does not line up with the mounting holes and fan openings. Anyone had direct experience with this and a solution?

38mm, I did not use the dust bracket...I attached the rad straight to the top of the case

yeah the holes don't line up, i used double sided tape again...again, it's extremely hard to take it down after, i have to use a heat gun to loosen the tape, but once every 6 months to clean the rad and the loop isn't too bad. Just use 3M 15lbs/inch double sided tape along and it'll stay. Or if you must use dust bracket, which is useless since you're blowing air out the case, u have to use 30mm thick rad, the 38mm will hit the top of the panel. sorry no pics of that particular area, just have an updated pic of what the PC looks like. If i used the bracket, then i wouldn't have clearance for my reservoir and pump...it'll be impossible to put the lid on after i fill it, so i went without it.

Very nice build FXformat. I saw your build a few days ago on a YouTube video and dug deep online for more of your pictures. smile.gif

I swear I am not copying you but I'm nearly finished building something fairly similar. (started my build 2 months ago)

(Still un-decided on the coolant colour)

Build log here with alot more WIP pictures: http://www.overclock.net/t/1606336/build-log-lian-li-pc-o6sx

That's clean as hell mate! I was going to do that passthrough idea, but too many fittings and too much drilling so I abandoned. I love it, what color coolant is that? Looks grey.
