Recently I moved from a Lian Li PC60 USB B2 case into a beautiful shiny new Lian Li PC-V2000 Plus case, and I'm still in shock at the craftsmanship, beauty, and design of their cases. Even the old one today (after a quick dusting) still looks as if it just came from the Lian Li factory.

So I figured, why not make a thread devoted to the various beautiful Lian Li chassis that we have floating around here on Overclock.net? This will be an unofficial thread for now (unless some mighty mod deems it worthy) for owners of Lian Li cases to post up pictures of their cases, of mods to their cases (you have to have balls of steel to do this...), and to discuss future mods, cases, and the like about Lian Li, the king of aluminum...

So without further ado, here's the PC60 that once housed this computer:

And now, here's the home of the new Lian Li PC-V2000 Plus:

Marcus000 beautiful case, I myself was looking into purchasing a Lian Li the a few days ago. I was browsing through their site and saw one of the most beautiful cases i have ever seen (even though it DOES look like an TT Armor). The Lian Li Armorsuit.

So i did a little research on it and it is announced to be released in January, hopefully i can find one available and post pics of it........im really in love with that case.

first thing I looked at XD

those smart coil things people have around their WC tubes - do you have to plug those in or anything. They look hot.

Smart Coil or EL wire?

They are just UV reactive plastic coils that you wrap around the tubing.

I want a midnight blue V2000 man. How HOT would that be?

I think in the right room lighting with the proper paint job (read: anodizing or powder coating), it would really pop. Go for it.

The insides have been powdercoated black and the external panels were anodised blue. I'm not happy with the blue anodising though so im tempted to get it powdercoated blue in the new year.

@ Burn - What case is that??

Hey marcus, I've got a question for you, deals with Lian Li and internal water setups...

If I'm going to place the rad internally in the bottom and have it pull air in from the bottom of the case (no cutting, I cant cut something this beautiful), how far off the floor of the case should I set the rad? Push or pull?

What colour coating you thinking off?
You know, I'm not really sure! I love the flat black but it seems that nowadays, everyone is doing it. I'll have to ask the guy I know what colors he has to choose from. I might go out on a limb
Any ideas?

The green acrylic isn't being used on this panel, I just had it to hand and I thought it looked preeeeeeety dam sweet with it lit up from behind
