I very much agree, as half of the cases people have linked to really aren't that bad, and a quarter of them aren't bad enough that I would feel the need to replace the case, and the last quarter, I really think they are that bad! But the kid who modded his own case, and made his own "handle", you can't argue with the hideousness of the case... it really makes me feel bad for the kid. I mean I know and understand how you feel good about something when you make it yourself, like that piece of pottery for grandma and grandpa when you were 7, but come on... have a little self respect and at least
try and go for "perfection"... and that doesn't mean it has to be perfect, that just means you shouldn't feel obligated to settle for less... if it honestly looks crappy, take it apart and do it again. Uggghhhhh..... I just feel bad for him.
