I've been able to run orthos stable at 3.8 with 1.5 vcore. Temps are still under 60c for all cores (high 50's).

The good news is that my pair of backordered Thermaltake DuOrb's are finally in! Picking them up tomorrow afternoon. I'll post some pics and results with them with my SLI config. Given what I have seen on other set ups, I anticipate big things.

I also have my fan controller ready for the two DuOrbs as I have heard they are loud at stock (Which is fine for benching)

I'll post some stats tomorrow night. I really wanted the thermalrights but with fans attached the bloody things take 3 slots! The DuOrbs are only a couple of degrees off though and take only 1 extra slot so they should be perfect for SLI.

BTW, have a look at what I paid for them

hey robilar that 1.5 vcore is set in bios or after the vdrop? Also did you leave everything in auto or you set the voltages yourself?

I just set up my 780i last night, I have 4 sticks of OCZ PC-8500 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK) RAM. When I set up the PC last night it would hang at post, so I removed 3 of the sticks of RAM like in Roblier's guide. Then it posted fine. I then made all tweaks in the bios, put back in the ram and it hangs at post again. Next I booted with two sticks, works fine. 3 sticks works fine. When I add the 4th stick again it won't post.

It will post fine if I swap the RAM around, or leave either slot 3 or 4 empty, just not with all four. I've tried setting stock voltage and that doesn't work either.

Help!!

Thanks,
McSterls

Try setting your timings a little looser. Maybe go from 1t to 2t

I tried the stock settings of 5-5-5-15 2t at 2.1v, it wouldn't post with 4 sticks.
