so are you saying galaxy will cover warranty in case my card fails because i've been running it at 1.3v for a year?

actually, i dont even know what the warranty is (how many years) for the galaxy 8800gt OEM card, there are very little documents lol

hey there, decided to join after seeing this thread...

and I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, but I'm hitting 1115mhz for the memory clock with the stock rectangular cooler at 1.1v (standard).

but my core can't go past 675mhz.

it's weird, because I was expecting my core to go to 700 and my memory to max out at 1000 (but ****, I went 100mhz over)

is something wrong??

bump up the voltage bud. You aren't hitting higher because you're leaving it stock.

what about my memory clock? why does it go so high? (i'm not complaining, just curious)

Because our video cards have samsung memory chips instead of the qmonda chips on most 8800 GTs. The samsung chips are better than the qmonda.

Just installed the Accelero S1 rev2... the voltage regulator heatsink doesn't fit, so I left it stock. fit is good, but there's almost no place to place one of the clamps.

I ran ATI tool to check temperatures.... peak with stock Galaxy cooler was 64, 81 when running on background (using opera and IE at once). now it peaks at 66 and 77 when running on background. temperature is a bit lower, but I get artifacts!!!

I'm clocked at 700/1800/1115

I'm gonna try lowering the shader clock...

hopefully I just have to reapply the heatsink with Arctic silver 5. and revise my case airflow

Should have got a Thermaltake DuOrb. Best cooler for this card.

Thread Starter
I just purchased another Galaxy for SLI... no, there is no way to monitor the voltage through software, and yes the jumpers are the ones near the power connectors on the new revision
