sorry for the necro resurect but.. does anyone know of any other cards (galaxy or otherwise) that allow voltage changing as this one did? I would buy it in a second over all the other ones as my watercooled system is keeping things far too cool and they SCREAM to be overclocked above and beyond.

Not that I know of. It's a shame too, I would buy one of these cards instantly if they did it for higher end cards.

I sold one of these to a Canuck about 6 months ago. The card did overclock like a champ

Its amazing that other AIB's are not utilizing this approach? I mean.. its the next logical step.. the motherboard allows voltage increments, why not the video card? Its basically its own little computer with its own core, its own ram and its own power supply. In all likeness, a GPU is a mini motherboard. Allow us to overclock them as such!

Epic card. Has a lot of potential but runs extremely hot with 1.3v. I'm even using a VF900 and at 1.3v I got the temps to 105*C and beyond when testing in Furmark. With 1.3v a REALLY REALLY good air cooler is recommended or water cooling.

Wow that is hot. i used to run mine with the voltage jumped and never, ever, ever got that hot with the stock cooler. Are you sure you have the HSF seated properly?

Yeah I made sure everything was proper and clean before doing anything. I dunno maybe it was just my card for some reason. However I dunno if you used Furmark's burn test cause that will bring your temps really really up. As far as I know that's the most intensive program for GPU stability testing which is why I used it.
