A Little Help Please

so i want to start putting all my dvd's on my PC. BUT its upstairs and my bigscreen is downstairs.... how can i watch the dvd's on my tv?? i am wanting to stay cheap and not build a HTPC at this time, but have no idea how to do it? a router? any ideas??

I am not completely familiar with this product, but I believe you can use it to view videos/music/pictures from another computer. Have to connect a crossover cable to your computer, or use a router/hub/switch.

What you'll need is a wireless router and a wireless media player.

ya those are SUPER expensive...if u have some extra time, u could try a clever wiring job, concealing the wires under floorboards etc
